Starting pitcher Pat Sawtell was a major factor in the 2-1 St. Lucie Mets triumph over the Charlotte Stone Crabs. St. Lucie pitcher Donovan Presley got the win, upping his record to 3-2. Josh Carr got the loss. The loss makes Charlotte 32-16.

Jake Guzzo was the walk-off hero for St. Lucie. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mets pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Sawtell told the St. Lucie Gazette. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
