The performance of Matthew Donovan proved critical in helping Brevard County beat Daytona, 10-8. The Manatees first baseman went 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Doug Russell was credited with the save for Brevard County, his 3rd of the season. Brevard County, now 37-12, has won 22 straight games.

With Brevard County trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the third, Donovan hit a forkball from Kevin Fuqua for a 2-run triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Manatees ahead, 6-5.

"It's great to be on a roll," said Donovan.
