Cardinals Rally to Eke Out Win
The game ended in walk-off fashion, much to the delight of the home crowd.

The Palm Beach Cardinals relied on a great performance from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Mario Delgado to beat the Fort Myers Miracle, 2-1, in 10 innings at Roger Dean Stadium. Palm Beach is now 28-24, Fort Myers 34-18.

Mark Davidson delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth to win it for the Cardinals. For the game, Davidson went 1-4. He drove in 2 runs.

"There's a warrior mentality with this team," said Cardinals manager Greg Cary.
