Donnelly Plays Big Role in Fort Myers Win
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Fort Myers Miracle and the Daytona Tortugas, pitcher Joe Donnelly was the difference between victory and defeat. The Fort Myers left-hander earned kudos in the 3-0 Miracle win. Fort Myers's record now stands at 37-21, placing them first in the FSL South.
Daytona could barely put a dent in Donnelly. The left-hander tossed 85 pitches over 8.2 innings for the Miracle, allowing only 4 hits.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Donnelly told the Fort Myers Gazette.
