Mets Absorb 6-3 Loss at Hammond Stadium
The Fort Myers Miracle topped the St. Lucie Mets, 6-3, in Florida State League action at Hammond Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Fort Myers pitcher and Bayamón, Puerto Rico, native Alex Ontiveros. Ontiveros got the win, improving to 4-3. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 5.1 innings. Ontiveros allowed 1 run. Fort Myers is third in the FSL South with a record of 36-23.
