It was a parade of hits for Jason Burchell of the St. Lucie Mets at Tradition Field.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Burchell finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Mets to a win, 23-1.

"Burchell was really good and we were really bad," groaned Threshers manager Luis Alvarez. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
