Daytona second baseman Ron Worthington had a good game, even if his team did not. The Tortugas dropped a 6-4 decision to Palm Beach at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Worthington was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Marcus Schubert notched his 14th save in 17 chances. The Cardinals win now puts them at 47-14.

Ben Sunderman, who is tied for 8th in the FSL in triples with 4, aided the Palm Beach cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder was 3 for 4 with 3 singles.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Luis Portillo told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
