A 4-RBI performance from the 23-year old center fielder Josh Roberts helped the St. Lucie Mets beat the Clearwater Threshers, 8-6. St. Lucie reliever Hector Esparza was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Willie Maciel took the loss. St. Lucie has now won 3 in a row.

Roberts had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Mets went on to win.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Roberts told the St. Lucie Gazette.
