|
Bradenton beat Clearwater in a rain-soaked ballgame.
Bobby Delgado had a 3-RBI game, during Bradenton's 9-1 triumph over Clearwater. Delgado had 2 singles, 1 double, and 1 walk in the contest. Dave Lucero, credited with the save, is now 3 for 5 in save opportunities.
The Marauders benefited from an error in the bottom of the third inning. Bradenton was leading 2-1 when Rick Dake hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Bradenton in front, 4-1.
Marauders manager Jeremy Littlefield had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
Bradenton, now 28-41, holds down last place in the FSL South.
