The Charlotte Stone Crabs extended their winning streak.

Charlotte left fielder Omar Navarro had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the Daytona Tortugas, 8-2. Navarro picked up 1 single and 2 doubles in the ballgame. Jason Wengerd, the winner, goes to 4-3. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with no walks and 9 strikeouts over 5.1 innings. Salvador Sanchez closed the game out for Charlotte, earning his 1st save.
