Tortugas Need Extra Frames to Get Past Threshers
The Tortugas grabbed a win, 5-3, at Jackie Robinson Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Clearwater pitcher Jayden Stephens. Stephens went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Clearwater now has a 5-game losing streak.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the tenth, with Daytona trailing 3-2, Alex Cervantes hit a splitter from Jim Unknown for a 3-run home run, giving the Tortugas the walk-off win.

Cervantes described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
