The Palm Beach Cardinals defeated the Lakeland Flying Tigers, 4-3, in Florida State League action at Roger Dean Stadium. Palm Beach pitcher Ricky Fifield had a standout performance. Kyle Secore dealt the Flying Tigers a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Palm Beach leading 3-0, Secore hit a first pitch changeup for a run-scoring single.
