The St. Lucie Mets beat the Bradenton Marauders, 4-3, at Tradition Field. St. Lucie left fielder Adan Ives led the way. He went 2-3 with a double and was hit by a pitch. Jesus Alvarado got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. With the victory, the Mets upped their record to 46-35.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Ives. Facing Carlos Mondragon with the bases loaded, the St. Lucie left fielder had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. Game over, walk-off style!

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Bradenton manager Jeremy Littlefield.
