Blue Jays Top Marauders, 3-2
|
The Dunedin Blue Jays got a stellar performance from pitcher Job MacDonald, who handcuffed the Bradenton offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Troy Anderson earned save number 12 this season. Dunedin now has a record of 58-24 with the win.
Paul Mulligan took Bob Rochelle deep in the bottom of the second. His 2-run home run put the Blue Jays on top, 2-0. In all, Mulligan had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Bradenton manager Rob Suleymanov. "The effort was great."
