Cardinals Bats Go Cold Against Flying Tigers
|
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Lakeland left-hander Nick Zahradka pitched his team to victory over the Palm Beach Cardinals at Joker Marchant Stadium. The final score was 3-0. Joey Amaya closed the game out for Lakeland, earning his 13th save.
The Cardinals had little chance against Zahradka, who overpowered Palm Beach hitters and struck out 10.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Lakeland manager Sean Johnson.
With the victory, the Flying Tigers upped their record to 53-29.
