In a low-scoring tilt between the Fort Myers Miracle and the Clearwater Threshers, John Gongloff was the difference-maker. The Fort Myers right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Fort Myers is in third place in the FSL South with a record of 52-32.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Fort Myers third baseman Brian Taylor, facing Juan Guzman, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Miracle the 2-1 win.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Taylor told the Fort Myers Daily News.
