Hammerheads Get 5-0 Win Versus St. Lucie
|
The Jupiter Hammerheads and St. Lucie Mets completed their game despite the rain.
The 5-0 Jupiter win over St. Lucie was due largely to Jesus Robles. The Hammerheads designated hitter was 2 for 4 with a triple. He scored 2 times. Despite the win, the Hammerheads still have a lousy 23-63 record.
Robles contributed in the top of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Jupiter get the win.
"It's no secret that good defense follows around people who throw strikes," said Jupiter manager Mark Williamson.
