Late Rally Earns Tampa 5-2 Win
The Tampa Yankees used a stellar performance from pitcher C.J. Gray to throttle the Clearwater offense en route to an extra-inning, 5-2 win at Bright House Field. Richard Silverstone, now 5-9, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. With the win over Clearwater, the Yankees improved to 40-47.

Jim Duncan was 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI against the Threshers. With the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Tampa in front, 3-2.

In postgame comments, Duncan said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
