Extra-Inning Win by Miracle Over Marauders
The Fort Myers Miracle and Bradenton Marauders obliged fans looking for a good time.

Bradenton third baseman Josh Kiesling had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Kiesling was 2-4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, even as Fort Myers beat the Marauders, 5-4, in 10 innings. With the win, Fort Myers goes to 48-40, while the Marauders fall to 45-44.

Batting in the bottom of the tenth, 26-year old right fielder Steve Richardson had a real shot to win the game. Bradenton pitcher Santiago Sorto was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Richardson hit a run-scoring single. The Miracle had a walk-off triumph.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Richardson said.
