Fort Myers Slaps 6-2 Loss on Dunedin
The Dunedin Blue Jays got a sterling performance from pitcher Belarmino Galindo, but the Fort Myers Miracle still prevailed, 6-2. Galindo came in in relief and pitched to 20 batters. Eduardo Herrera snagged the win in relief. He goes to 7-8 on the season. Wayne Lambert suffered the loss. Earning his 1st save for Fort Myers was Ivan Cartagena.

Kyle Eby had a big run-scoring double for the Miracle in the bottom of the third inning. With Fort Myers leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Wayne Lambert and swatted a double to center. It was his 33rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Miracle ahead, 3-1.

Said Dunedin manager Manny Miranda: "They just got the better of us."

Fort Myers is now 58-36.
