The Fort Myers Miracle and Palm Beach Cardinals left the fans buzzing.

The Palm Beach Cardinals topped the Fort Myers Miracle, 5-2, in Florida State League action at Roger Dean Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Palm Beach pitcher Mario Delgado. Delgado, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. Jonathan Saiz finished the game for Palm Beach and earned his 12th save.

Willy Martinez came through for Palm Beach when he hit a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a two-strike fastball to right-center field, staking his team to a 3-2 lead.
