Lennon Bangs Out 5 Base Hits
|
Taylor Lennon really sizzled at the plate in his team's 3-0 win over the Fort Myers Miracle. The Palm Beach third baseman blistered Fort Myers for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"Lennon was too tough to get out today," the Miracle skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Taylor Lennon singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Matheus Rocque in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
In 82 games this season, Lennon has compiled a .263 batting average with 80 hits and 6 home runs. He has also scored 46 times and knocked in 36 runs.
