Fort Myers and Palm Beach duked it out and the Miracle came out victorious.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Fort Myers Miracle and the Palm Beach Cardinals, John Gongloff was the difference-maker. The Fort Myers right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. The third-place Miracle go to 60-39.
In his 80-pitch effort, Gongloff allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 7.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Fort Myers manager Bashir Mothudi said.
