Close Win Moves Marauders to 50-51
|
Victor Gonzales could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Clearwater Threshers lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Bradenton Marauders at Bright House Field. Bruce Murphy, credited with the win in relief, is now 9-4. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 4 innings. The Marauders, at 50-51, sit in 5th place in the FSL South.
Shortstop Josh Kiesling made an impact for Bradenton, when he swatted a run-scoring triple off Victor Gonzales in the top of the fifth. For the contest, Kiesling was 1-4 with a triple.
