Brevard County Manatees starter Dan Buskey worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Daytona Tortugas, 8-1. The Manatees are now 61-42.

Brevard County center fielder Rodolfo Rosas contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 32nd hit of the season and put the Manatees ahead, 2-0.

"What a lackluster performance," lamented losing manager Bob Rogers.
