The Fort Myers Miracle downed the Bradenton Marauders, 11-5, the largest share of the credit belonging to third baseman Greg Barry. On the day, Barry went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs for the Miracle. By defeating Bradenton, the third-place Miracle improved to 55-49.

Jay Pulaski had a big 2-run triple for the Miracle in the bottom of the third inning. With Fort Myers trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Joe Winfield, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2109 draft, and swatted a triple to right. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Miracle ahead, 3-2.

"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said Barry. "It eases the tension."
