Threshers Coast to 11-1 Victory
The Clearwater Threshers topped the St. Lucie Mets, 11-1, in Florida State League action at Bright House Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Clearwater pitcher Hector Galarza. Clearwater reliever Hector Galarza got the win, raising his record to 2-2. You-cheng Thian was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Threshers improved to 51-54.

With Clearwater leading 2-1 in the bottom of the second, Ryan Cirella hit a run-scoring single off St. Lucie pitcher You-cheng Thian. It put the Threshers ahead 3-1.

"What a debacle," groaned St. Lucie manager Troy Nelson in postgame remarks.
