Charlotte Loses Again
The St. Lucie Mets picked up a win at Tradition Field, knocking off the Charlotte Stone Crabs, 4-3. On the mound for St. Lucie was left-hander Stanley Johnson. He played a key role in the triumph. Cesar Benavides earned the save for St. Lucie. After today's action, St. Lucie sits at 46-60, while Charlotte falls to 50-56.

St. Lucie took a 4-3 lead on Mark Collins's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Collins hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Charlotte pitcher Chris Bones visibly frustrated.

"We're not winning games right now," said Charlotte manager Victor Beltran. "But I'm not going to denigrate the effort by the guys."
