The Daytona Tortugas got a superb performance from pitcher Matt Trent. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Fort Myers. The Miracle won the game, 6-4. Trent threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The Miracle go to 65-44, putting them third in the FSL South.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the tenth, with Fort Myers trailing 4-3, Ben Woodford hit a cutter from Steve McLaughlin for a 3-run home run, giving the Miracle the walk-off win.

"It was terrific getting this win," Woodford said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
