Lakeland and Daytona put this game in the books despite some rain.

The Lakeland Flying Tigers downed the Daytona Tortugas, 10-0, at Joker Marchant Stadium. Stellar pitching by Cole May had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who is tied for 5th in the FSL in wins with 10, handcuffed his opponent all game. The Flying Tigers now own a record of 65-46.

The Flying Tigers ran into trouble in the top of the third. The score was 1-0, Lakeland, with one out. Daytona, with runners on 1st and 2nd, had Leo Rodriguez at the plate. With a base hit, he could have changed the complexion of the game. Instead, he struck out and the Flying Tigers went on to win.
