The Dunedin Blue Jays defeated the Brevard County Manatees, 7-1, in Florida State League action at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Dunedin pitcher David Allen had a standout performance. The win elevated the Blue Jays to 69-44.

With one out in the bottom of the second, Jim Rex put Dunedin in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Blue Jays went on to win the ballgame.

"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Rex.
