Roy Kneebone had a good game, but he could not keep the Jupiter Hammerheads from falling, 4-2, to the Clearwater Threshers at Bright House Field. The Jupiter designated hitter was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. The Threshers go to 38-77 with the win.
Kareem Hadnot, who is tied for 8th in the FSL in home runs with 10, helped out the Clearwater cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
After the game, Clearwater manager Frank Ricker applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
