The Clearwater Threshers defeated the Jupiter Hammerheads, 2-0, in Florida State League action at Roger Dean Stadium. Clearwater pitcher Vantrell Wilson had a standout performance. Wilson, now 3-13, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Daniel Flores earned the save for Clearwater, his 8th.
