Blue Jays Claim 5-1 Triumph
The Dunedin Blue Jays rode a solid performance from 24-year-old starting pitcher Luis Rodas to a win, beating the Daytona Tortugas, 5-1, at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Miles Glass recorded his 27th save for Dunedin. The first-place Blue Jays, at 76-43, lead the FSL North by 4½ games.

Dunedin relied on the bat of Mario Silva to get the win. The center fielder produced a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 2-0. For the game, Silva had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"Our offense was purring," said Dunedin manager Manny Miranda. "Like a well-oiled machine."
