Clearwater rode a good effort from starter Jayden Stephens to beat the Palm Beach Cardinals at Bright House Field. The final score was 3-2. Stephens got the win, improving to 11-8. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Stephens allowed 1 run. Picking up the save was Daniel Flores. He's now 9 for 10 in save chances.

John Pierce had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Clearwater. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Clearwater in front, 3-1.
