Threshers Lose, 5-2, at Charlotte Sports Park
The Clearwater Threshers and Charlotte Stone Crabs left the fans buzzing.

T.J. Lynch did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Clearwater Threshers from being beaten, 5-2, to the Charlotte Stone Crabs at Charlotte Sports Park. Lynch was 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Stone Crabs now have a record of 53-68.

Charlotte first baseman Elias Urena contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 117th hit of the season and put the Stone Crabs ahead, 5-2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Urena told a Charlotte Daily reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
