The St. Lucie Mets electrified the home crowd with a walk-off win.

St. Lucie turned a fine outing from starter John Rood into a victory over the Fort Myers Miracle at Tradition Field. The final score was 2-1. The Mets saw their record improve to 94-32.

Leo Lafarga was the walk-off hero for St. Lucie. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mets pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"What a buzz," said Lafarga after it was over.
