Klein, Tortugas Get 6-0 Win
|
The Daytona Tortugas downed the Dunedin Blue Jays, 6-0, at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Stellar pitching by Jim Klein had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the FSL in saves with 12, handcuffed his opponent all game. The win makes Daytona 76-50.
Klein delivered a quality start for Daytona. The 6-foot-4 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 7.1 innings of work.
"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Klein.
