Blue Jays Stick Flying Tigers with 8-2 Loss
The Dunedin Blue Jays topped the Lakeland Flying Tigers, 8-2, in Florida State League action at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Dunedin pitcher and Catonsville, Maryland, native Josh Montgomery. The save went to Tyler Cox, number 3 for him. The FSL North-leading Blue Jays have a record of 89-37.

Dave Ellenbecker aided the Dunedin cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the second. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I thought we played a nice game," Montgomery told the Dunedin News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
