Threshers Shut Out Marauders, 3-0

The home team was supported by a raucous crowd at Bright House Field.
Clearwater picked up a win at Bright House Field, bumping off the Bradenton Marauders, 3-0. Pitcher Alex Dominguez was a major reason the Threshers emerged victorious. The Threshers sit in last place in the FSL North with a record of 50-77.
Tied up with the Marauders in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Threshers got a boost from catcher Jesus Vazquez. With a runner on 3rd, Vazquez saw a 1-0 slider from Malik Barry and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Clearwater on top, 1-0.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Vazquez said after the game.
