Flying Tigers Win Streak Now at 8 After 1-0 Victory
The Lakeland Flying Tigers claimed a close win over the Tampa Yankees, due in large part to Jose Olivas. The Lakeland right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 1-0 win. Lakeland reliever Jose Olivas got the win, raising his record to 13-10. Danny Harless was tagged with the loss. The win makes Lakeland 85-44.

Ricky Caceres came through for Lakeland when he hit a run-scoring single in the top of the first. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a two-strike fastball to right-center field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.

"Young guys to old guys," said Olivas, "we're all going out there and doing what it takes to win."
