In a very sharp performance at Tradition Field, Jayden Thomas of the St. Lucie Mets blanked the Palm Beach Cardinals, 3-0. He permitted 6 hits and finished with 11 strikeouts and 1 walk in the Mets victory.

"Jayden goes out there and just goes about his business," Mets manager Felipe Guerrero said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on. No matter the pitch, you know he's going to be where he needs to be."
