Right-hander Zach Darnell mesmerized the Daytona Tortugas while leading the Fort Myers Miracle to a 3-0 victory. Darnell, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. Fort Myers occupies 4th place in the FSL South at 73-57.

Fort Myers used a well-timed hit by Cesar Reyna to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Miracle ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Daytona skipper Eloi Sequeiros, "and it cost us."
