Stone Crabs Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
Stone Crabs fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Charlotte Stone Crabs beat the Clearwater Threshers, 5-4. Charlotte pitcher and Yaritagua, Venezuela, native Jose Valdez led the way. Charlotte, at 89-41, holds down second place in the FSL South.

Matt Flagg was the walk-off hero for Charlotte. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stone Crabs right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Flagg called the triumph "a good team win."
