Downward Spiral Continues for Jupiter

David Hollomon had an impact in the 5-2 St. Lucie win over Jupiter. The 23-year old second baseman went 2-4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Picking up the win was Frank Perez. He went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits. The right--hander struck out 6 and walked 2. The losses continue to add up for Jupiter, having now dropped 8 straight.
Hollomon had a game-changing triple in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 curveball from Gregg Porowski, he banged a bases-clearing triple to center, giving the Mets a 4-1 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for Hollomon.
Said losing manager Leonardo Espinet: "Obviously, we wished for a better outcome."
