Mike McKim could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Palm Beach Cardinals lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Daytona Tortugas at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Dave King picked up the save for Daytona, his 10th of the year. The Tortugas are now 64-70, while the Cardinals fall to 77-57.

Jacob Van Noy was 1 for 2 with a double. He drove in 2 runs for Daytona. The 23-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Mike McKim. It was his 16th RBI of the season.

"Every loss hurts," said Palm Beach manager Greg Cary. "But this was a tough one."
