Mike Paulson was outstanding against Tri-City. The right-hander had a splitter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Spinners 6-2 win. The win gives the Spinners a record of 2-2.

Paulson's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 9 strikeouts in 6.2 innings while allowing 3 hits. Paulson goes to 1-0 on the year with 9 strikeouts.

"That was a really good outing by Mike," said Lowell manager Mike Palmer.
