State College Shuts Out Batavia Behind Dickel, 9-0
In a seemingly effortless performance, Nate Dickel of the State College Spikes shot down the Batavia Muckdogs, 9-0, on 1 hit.

"Nate was just locating so well and using his pitches," State College manager Paul Thomas said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

Dickel recorded 5 strikeouts and 3 walks in a strong outing.

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Batavia manager Jake Landen said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
