It might have been a rain-shorted game, but Loons fans didn't seem to mind as long as their team got the win.

Great Lakes Loons starter Max Ponce was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Lansing Lugnuts, 4-3. Jon Kaufenberg recorded his 1st save for Great Lakes.

Great Lakes won the game in part because of Kevin Browning. The center fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Loons ahead, 4-1. For the game, Browning had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"Nice, tidy little win," Browning said after the game.

Lansing falls to 2-3.
