Burlington defeated Beloit, 6-1, in large part due to 23-year old center fielder Ryan Bennett. Bennett drove in 4 runs. The center fielder had 1 double and 1 home run for the Bees. Jake Shouse went 6 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits. The right-hander struck out 4 and walked 2. With the win, he's now 1-0 this season. The loss puts Beloit at 4-2.

Early in the game, Bennett had a 2-run home run for Burlington. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Bees on top, 2-0.
